KIDZUP MUSIC HELPS CHILDREN LOCALLY AND GLOBALLY
(May 15 Press Release by Beth Blenz-Clucas)
New Partnership raises money for local schools and supports World Vision Vaccination Plan
Denver, CO - KIDZUP Music, through a partnership with Music Rewards Fundraising, is now available to raise money for preschools and elementary schools. In addition to helping fund local education, KIDZUP donates into the World Vision vaccination program for each CD sold.
Purchasing fun and educational
children's music titles such as Best Toddler Tunes, Kindergarten Hits, and Let's
Multiply was a welcome change for parents when a pilot test for the new fundraising
program was run last fall. And, with KIDZUP being 40% owned by the non-profit
KIDZUP foundation, families felt good that their purchase was supporting World
Vision's international vaccination efforts. Priced at $8 in the fundraiser,
music is considered by most parents to be a much better value than a roll of
gift wrap or a small box of chocolates - especially since the schools keep 40%
of sales with no shipping or handling costs.
Last Year KIDZUP donated over 20,000 dollars to World Vision and Music Rewards Fundraising raised over 30,000 dollars for education. "We have really only scratched the surface of the potential of these programs. We have had success raising money for elementary schools, preschools, parent Co-ops, day-care centers, moms day out, and other educational programs. In this economy, parents want lasting value for their hard-earned dollar - with KIDZUP music we're giving them value and more. We have even had a children's recording artist play at a school to kick-off a fundraiser and that school raised over 4,000 dollars." explains Grant Olson, President Music Rewards Fundraising.
Along with the KIDZUP children's music and Music Rewards' selection of top-name artists for adults, there are specialty fundraising programs featuring children's recording artists, Christian, Latin, and holiday music. "Everyone loves music and we try to offer something for everyone. Non-profit groups need fundraising programs that reflect positively on their organization and we allow them to select the type of music they feel good about promoting" explains Olson.
